1. Get your credentials

Use the credentials crmSeries issued to your dealership: OAuth 2.0 client credentials, an API key, or both. Keep secrets on your server, away from browser code and source control.

2. Choose an authentication method

Each request uses one method: either a bearer token obtained through client credentials or an API key. See the authentication guide for both patterns.

3. Read an operation

Every operation in the API reference shows its method, path, inputs, and response status codes. Paths already include the API version (they begin with /api/v2/), so use each path exactly as shown. List operations also accept the query parameters described in the pagination guide.

4. Make a request

Start with Fetches a list of company with filtering, sorting, and pagination options.. Replace the credential with the access token or API key issued for your integration.

curl --request GET \
  'https://apiv2.crmseries.com/api/v2/companies/list' \
  --header 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN'
Use HTTPS for every request.

Send credentials in headers and avoid putting them in query strings or client-side applications.
